Item images

Overview

Each item in WBudget can have up to three images linked to it.
Images help visually identify products or services and can be displayed as part of the item description.

Images are managed from the item edit modal.


What is this for?

Item images are useful to:

  • Visually represent products or services
  • Improve clarity when reviewing items
  • Enhance item descriptions
  • Provide better context when items are used in invoices

Images are optional and can be added or removed at any time.


Accessing item images

To manage images for an item:

  1. Go to Registries > Items
  2. Add a new item or edit an existing one
  3. In the item modal, open the Images tab

Adding images to an item

To add an image:

  1. Click Add Image
  2. Select an image file from your device
  3. Choose whether the image should be included in the item description
  4. Save the item

You can add up to three images per item.


Managing images

For each linked image, you can:

  • Preview the image
  • Remove the image
  • Define whether it should be shown in the item description

Changes are applied after saving the item.


Notes

  • A maximum of three images can be linked to each item
  • Images are linked to the item, not duplicated across items
  • Images do not affect item pricing or VAT
  • Removing an image does not affect invoices already issued
